Brian Kelly feeling Orange

Tennessee's next head football coach?
After my Saturday night drive back from Nashville, I feel even more strongly that it's going to be Brian Kelly, especially after the whacking Mike Leach took at Oklahoma.
If you think I'm jumping on the bandwagon late, check out my blog entry from November 11th -- way before Kelly became everyone's popular choice.
When Oklahoma went up 42-7, I tuned my satellite radio to the Cincinnati-Pitt game. UC students were throwing oranges on the field after the Bearcats beat the Panthers. Kind of a strange symbolic vibe there, don't you think?
With a win next week, Kelly takes Cincinnati to the Orange Bowl. The Bearcats end the regular season in Hawaii. After that, if UT AD Mike Hamilton can make it work, I think Kelly is wearing Orange in Knoxville.
Another thought-- Hamilton was either a no-show, or kept an unusually low profile at the Vols-Vandy game. That's not like him. Maybe Mike took a drive. Cincinnati isn't THAT far away.
Hey, blogs are for stuff like this, right?
