Three hours before the game, Peyton Manning announced he and his wife Ashley will donate $1 million towards construction of a new training facility for UT athletes. Manning told me, he will offer no pregame words of inspiration to players before today's season opener. The last thing the players need, Manning joked, is another pregame speech.
