Cuonzo Martin Arrives

Cuonzo Martin arrived in Knoxville on Sunday night.  Our news photographer Brian Overholt was sent to the airport in an effort to see it happen. 

Shortly before 11 p.m., Martin and his family stepped off a private jet, and into a complicated future as Tennessee's new head coach.

Overholt was there to document it.

In June, Tennessee goes before the NCAA to face list of violations that took place under Bruce Pearl's watch. 

In October, Tennessee will open the season without now knowing what penalties it may face, and possibily without eight players from last season's NCAA team (think Hopson and Harris).

Martin said so-long to his Missouri State players at 7 p.m. on Sunday night.  On Monday afternoon, he will say hello to his new players, and his new challenge as Tennessee's next head coach.

Okay...I'll say what most are thinking but are afraid to ask: what in the blazes kind of FIRST name is "Cuonzo?" What was his Momma thinking?

I'm so sick and tired of racism continue polluting society with ignorance. It is apparent that having a black president, coach or anyone else in a decision making position bothers white America.

Please export those who have negative comments to another country where this type of behavior will be acceptable.

Hamilton needs to be

Hamilton needs to be fired..he fired fulmer hired kiffin, now the best basketball coach we ever had.
Maybe we could get fulmer to be athletic director.
