Former Vol Still Making Good Plays
Submitted by Jim Wogan on May 21, 2007 - 4:23am.The NBA draft lottery is Tuesday. Teams won't be lining up to claim to Dane Bradshaw. Oden, Durant, Wright, Horford, and Noah--- yes. Bradshaw-- no. Dane knows he won't hear his name called in the actual draft next month. But that doesn't mean the former Vol has gone into hiding. Like his on-court style, Dane Bradshaw remains in motion. He's as busy as ever.
At a special event Sunday in Knoxville, Bradshaw told me he had just returning from the beach, perhaps his last real vacation for a while.

James McMurtry And WDVX
Submitted by Jim Wogan on May 7, 2007 - 4:35pm.Usually this space is called woganonsports.com. But sometimes I call it wogan-on-whatever-i-want -to-writeabout.com. This is one of those occasions.
You won't find James McMurtry's name in the sports section. But I'm still qualified to write about him. I've been a fan for seven years now. I can thank WDVX radio for that. I first heard McMurtry, and a growing list of other artists that now occupy space on my iPod, on WDVX.
