Vols At NCAA In Columbus, Ohio, Day One

It's an overcast, wet, chilly, and downright dull morning in Columbus, Ohio. Granted, we're not in Buffalo, but it's close. Despite that, March Madness is here and the Vols take the floor at the Nationwide Arena for a 45-minute practice session today. Their opponent, Long Beach State goes first.

I checked into our downtown hotel last night, and caught the tail-end of another sports network NCAA preview show. They've got the Vols winning tomorrow's game. They predicted another 12-5 upset, but by now I've forgotten which one. It's all become a blur. (Oh, and it was also 1:30am).

Its's funny, the first-round games get over-analyzed because there's so much time leading up to them. After that, it's crunch time-- just bring on the next opponent.

I walk to the Nationwide Arena shortly. If time permits, I will update you on how the Vols looked/responded during and after practice.
